My experience in music began early. Aunts and cousins singing in the kitchen.... miles from town and only the stereo and vinyls from my parents era. Marty Robbins, Judy Garland, Julie Andrews....later Barbara Streisand, Linda Ronstadt. I rode my horse for hours in the woods signing at the top of my lungs. Multiple kitchen harmonies blending with the deep winter silence of the Tennessee hills. It cooked a good stew. As time passed I fell in and out of love with music, until landing in 1986 in Nashville. Writers nights, late night music in the round, friends oozing with talent, writing and singing. It was a great 10 years. When I moved to Florida I continued to sing.....changing to chanting for my self and my personal growth, chanting in classes, the shower, at the meditation cushion. In 2007 recording Amma Bhakti (Mother Love) just to be able to sleep again. Hundreds of songs written and sung. Hundreds more to go.

“This CD is the culmination of 23 years of yoga practice and a lifetime of singing my heart full. I
have chanted sacred yoga and spiritual mantra during and after classes
for years as a means to promote healing, relaxation, and balance to
those listening. These are ancient phrases blended with inspired melodies. These melodies arrived in their own time and unique ways throughout my yoga journey. Everything is vibration. Light, sound, thought, and action all culminate into each arriving moment. Those chills we get are the proof of something greater than our current knowing. I hope this brings you the opportunity to be, to know, and to experience yourself more deeply.” ~ Laura
